Jackson’s Relay for Life

Have you or someone you love had cancer?
Cancer is all too prevalent in our society.
1 in 2 males and 1 in 3 females will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. 1 in 4 deaths in the United States are caused by cancer.

Join us in fighting back against this disease by participating in Jackson’s Relay for Life, 2013 with the First Presbyterian Church team.

The event will take place on August 2, starting at 6 p.m., at Cascades Walking Trail.
It will last for 24 hours.
We need volunteers to walk, since each team must have someone walking at all time, and to run fundraisers at our booth.

To sign up go to www.relayforlife.org, scroll down, type Jackson, MI into the search box, and choose the second event on the list.
From there click the Sign Up button, the Join and Existing Team.
Type First Presbyterian Church into the box and follow the instructions to complete your registration.
The cost to register is $10.

Can’t make it for the actual event? You can still make a donation!
Follow the same instructions above, but when you reach the event page select donate.
You can choose to search for a team or a specific participant to donate towards their fundraising goal.
If you would like to dedicate a luminaria to a loved one who has or had cancer you will find that option on the right of your screen.
